I am the youngest of my family. I was adopted by my Mum and Dad who I love very much (even though I bite them). I like to do nothing and everything (all at once). I have Cat-itude and I wanted this blog to tell you all what I think about everything. So listen up.

Why do Beans like baths?

I don't understand why beans like baths!

My little bean (who is growing into a big bean very quickly), loves to have a bath.

I don't like him having a bath and i get very upset when he does - I pace along the edge, watching carefully, and making sure he is okay.

Although I don't know what i would do if he needed me to help him - that would mean touching that water.

What do you furry folk think? Am i brave being on the edge of the bath?

oh my tail looks nice in this picture - very fluffy!

Happy Belated Easter

Finally a post - after being totally offline for yet another month (well almost), my Mum ditched the ADSL connection we had that was always flakey and got a cable internet connection. It is so much better and finally Mum can post the photos she has of me to post. (and I don't feel so isolated either!)

We had a nice easter and I even posed for Easter Pics with the baby boy:

Then Mum said that with my ears up like that I look like one of the bunnies so I made her take the picture again:

I is not a BUNNY!

I got in trouble last night when I tried to bite the baby boy. He was grabbing my fur at the time. Mum and Dad understood but they told me off all the same. Later they cuddled me and told me that they promise to teach him to respect my space, and to pat me nicely like they do.

Molly is good - she has been naughty and stays outside each day much longer than Mum would like. I come in as soon as Mum calls, but Molly stands at the door deciding whether to come in and will turn away again about 5 times before she finally comes in - it is so irritating! All up we are outside less than an hour a day though - there is something about the creature comforts of inside the house, especially when it is raining (yes Rain here in Australia - yay. Although the permanent water restrictions are here to stay by the sound of it.).

ok better go - got more pics to post again soon, but Mum said she needed the computer.

p.s. Mum has updated her recipe website too - you can find it HERE if you are interested (note - doggy dinners in there, but no cat treats. If you know of any cat treats she can cook - please let her know (for my sake! hehe).)

Hi guys!

Our internet connection is still being flaky but Mum is doing her best to get it fixed.

I have not been slacking though - the baby and I have been getting "up close and personal" and I have been teaching him how to just hang out on the bed during the day.

Early every morning I have had the job of jumping on Dad and waking him up so he can go to work.

and Mum snapped a picture of these birdies from our back door - you might have to click on the picture to get a closer look at them - aren't they pwetty! She wouldn't let me get close to them though - meany.

better go while I can still post this. Hopefully catch you all soon.

Me and my little Brudda!

Finally a picture of me with my little brudda Alex. I guess he is okay. I mean, the little fella is starting to grow on me. He is three weeks old in this picture . He smells pretty good too - almost not at good as catnip.

Everyone is doing really well. Dad says my nose is a little put out because when Dad comes home now he wants to hold Alex before I get a cuddle (although I looked in the mirror and my nose looks to be in the same place as always - Dad is strange.).

Molly seems to like Alex a lot - she headbutts him when he is being fed. He seems to take no notice of Molly at all, but I have seen him looking at me - but of course that must be because I am soooooo handsome. Nobody, even him it seems, can resist the charm of a gorgeous ginger like me.

What the hell is that in my house?

My Mum went missing for a whole week. Sort of like when Molly went missing. But yesterday she came home, and she brought the blurpy thing home with her.

I am not sure I like the blurpy thing. Mum and Dad told me I have to be careful around him. They say I am not allowed in his bed, and that I am not allowed to bat him around (with or without claws). What use is he? All he seems to do is sleep, feed and make little kitten noises.

Mum said I have to give you details -

Alexander Anthony ( A boy blurpy )
Born: 10th August 2007 at 11:54am 3 weeks early
Weight : 2.84kg (6 pound 4 ounces)
length: 48 cm
head circumference: 32.5 cm

Because Mum had gestational diabetes, Alex had some sugar issues when he was first born and spent some time in the special care nursery, and then he had some jaundice so had to be put under UV lights, but now he is home with Mum and they are both doing well.

Here are some pictures:
Mum with Alex:
Dad with Alex:
Notice there are no pictures of me yet with Alex. I do hope that is rectified very soon.
