I am the youngest of my family. I was adopted by my Mum and Dad who I love very much (even though I bite them). I like to do nothing and everything (all at once). I have Cat-itude and I wanted this blog to tell you all what I think about everything. So listen up.

I'm back baby!

Mum says I have been really really good. My embarrassing little problem has pretty much stopped. After months and months of me doing this my folks finally wised up that it was just that I was feeling a little neglected. So after being checked out and getting the all clear from the Vet they started paying me more attention. Molly and I get to go outside for a brief run every morning, and Mum bought me a new brush and i get lots of brushes every day now. When the baby comes into our bed to see Dad every morning, I go too now, and we all cuddle together. The baby sometimes pulls my fur but Mum and Dad are very quick to gently remove his hand and they praise me for not scratching or biting the bub.

So all is pretty good.

To celebrate Mum said I could post a video of myself. So here I am, pretending to be a stuffed toy. I think i do pretty well - what do you think? (seems I can't do anything by myself - right at the end you can hear the bub gurgling away!)

My turn to blog for a bit.

Since Oscar is in disgrace for what he has been doing, Mum said he has been banned for blogging for a few days. So - she said I could blog on his blog. Ha Ha suffer Oscar.

For those of you who haven't seen me much, I am Molly, a dark torti. I am Oscar's older sister. I turned 8 at the end of last year.

Mum and Dad have been teaching the baby bean how to pat us gently, as he has recently become very interested in us. They have been showing him how to pat us with an open hand. I think it is going well. Yesterday he did exactly as they showed him and he pat me very gently.

We were both happy with the result - well for about a minute until he grabbed my fur. I cried and Dad gently removed his hand and gave me a tickle behind my ears, where I really like it, but I had had enough, and I walked away and had a sleep on the bed instead.

Oscar is doing better. The Vet said it is probably a result of us bringing the new baby bean home that he is humping things (and people). So Mum has been giving him an extra brush every morning, Dad has been making sure he pays more attention to Oscar than he was and Mum has let both of us go outside every day for a short amount of time. So in the end we are both much happier.

And the best news is that the humping has reduced dramatically since they started paying him more attention. I think we are all happy about that!

Well I am off to go sit on the couch with my back to everyone - they are not worthy of my gaze.

Purrs and headbutts,

Molly

an embarrassing problem

Hi - Molly here hijacking Oscar's blog.

We have a little bit of an embarrassing problem at the moment. It's Oscar - Since Mum got pregnant with the baby bean he has been ummmm "humping" Mum and Dad. They thought it was some reaction to Mum's pregnancy hormones but the baby bean is 6 months old now and it is still happening.

Every night Mum is woken up by Oscar being on top of the doona humping her leg. She goes to push him off and he growls at her. He bites the doona and it is quite an effort to get him off. Even then, most of the time he comes straight back to try again. Mum is really sick of it. He does it to Dad too but mostly to Mum.

Oscar has been desexed since he was a kitten - he is 3 now. Do you think it might be a hormonal imbalance? He doesn't do it to me but then I never let him get close enough to try.

It appears to be getting worse. I think he might have to go to the V-E-T.

Has anyone ever heard of a kitty with a humping problem?

Hi guys!

Our internet connection is still being flaky but Mum is doing her best to get it fixed.

I have not been slacking though - the baby and I have been getting "up close and personal" and I have been teaching him how to just hang out on the bed during the day.

Early every morning I have had the job of jumping on Dad and waking him up so he can go to work.

and Mum snapped a picture of these birdies from our back door - you might have to click on the picture to get a closer look at them - aren't they pwetty! She wouldn't let me get close to them though - meany.

better go while I can still post this. Hopefully catch you all soon.
